Welcome to the "Tabriz Azerbaijani Music & Dance Ensemble" home page. Joyful, Traditional, Heroic and Romantic, our dances are the reflection of Azerbaijan’s rich history, culture and its people. Our group was formed in June 2003 with the aim of introducing beautiful Azerbaijani-Turkic dances and music to a variety of audiences especially to young Azerbaijani generation in our new home, Canada. The group holds practices in a dance studio located in Toronto. We base our repertoire on various themes as :

Our traditional music instruments accompany the artists in the performances. These dances capture their elegance, joy and pride from the spirit of Azerbaijan’s rich culture which is the result of thousands of years of traditions and civilizations inhabited in Azerbaijan and Qafqaz (Caucasia) territories.
